My friend just told me something entertaining which I found it quite true!
She asked me, "Have you ever noticed that in most conversations, the person who is being spoken to tends to stare at the face of the speaker, until it is his/her turn to speak, when he/she alternatively watches the other and looks away?" Well, my answer was obviously a no. To tell the truth, the direction in which that person looks away is very revealing.
She told me researchers have found out that this can be tested literally anywhere that when people look to the left, it means that they are remembering things whereas when they look to the right, they are thinking. Like all scientific dicoveries, this one could be dangerous. Why? Just try to do an easy "experiment". Next time, if your boyfriend has been away and you ask him where he has been, watch his eyes carefully. If, as he replies with eyes looking up to the left, you know that he is trying to remember. But if they slide down to the right, you know something deceptive is coming!
